Pythagoras update
Keeping your current version of Pythagoras updated ensures you get the latest bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features within your current version. Even if you have already installed a major release (e.g., Pythagoras 2024), smaller updates (patches) are released to fix issues and optimize the software.
Fortunately, Pythagoras has a built-in update feature that makes it easy to check for new fixes and improvements.
1. Enable automatic updates (recommended)
If you enable automatic updates, Pythagoras CAD will notify you whenever a new update is available, ensuring you never miss important improvements.
How to enable automatic updates:
- Open Pythagoras CAD.
- Go to File → Configure.
- Find the option 'Automatic update' and turn it ON.
This way, you don’t have to worry about missing an important update.
2. Check for updates manually
If automatic updates are disabled, you can manually check for updates at any time.
How to manually check for updates:
- Open Pythagoras CAD.
- Go to Help → Check for Updates.
- If a new update is available, click Yes and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
Tip: If you enable automatic updates, Pythagoras will notify you when a new update is ready to install.
