1. EMS > Protection Key Update

Go to Sentinel LDK-EMS and login with Personal account

Go to tab Entitlements. Click on button New Entitlement.

Create New Entitlement

Customer: type & search

- Existing

- New > Add new: Create Customer

Entitlement type:

Choose:

- Hardware Key = USB

- Product key = software

- Protection Key Update  FOLLOW ARTICLE: Update existing license / Extend student license

2a. TYPE: Hardware key

Number of keys: 1

see 3. Add product

2b. TYPE: Product key (SL Software license)

*Number of Product keys: default 1 = amount of seats

*Activations per Product key: default 1 - on how many computers/devices the license/seat can be used

User registration: Not required

Add Product

3. ADD PRODUCT

1. Click on button 'Add product'. Window Product selection opens. 

2. Check the box

• SL Standalone:check Pythagoras Standalone V0+RW - No RD/VM (Exceptions: Virtual Machine etc...
• SL Network: check
• SL Cloud: check Pythagoras NET FQDN
• SL Network Cloud:check

3. Click on button 'Add product To Entitlement'.

Product details

1. Check the box of the Product.

In case of mistake: Check the box of Product and click on the button 'Remove Product(s)'

When done, next step

4. GENERATE LICENSE

Click on the button:

• Standalone:  'Produce': creates txt file in your downloads 
• Cloud-based: 'Produce & Push': creates Cloud license

DOWNLOAD PRODUCT KEYS

Product Keys Generated

Click on the button 'Download'

TXT file is downloaded to your Downloads folder

(ex. Product_Keys_6097.txt)

Open TXT file

Copy the text in the file.

Open macro Update

Paste Product key + Click on Voeg toe

ADD PRODUCT?

Salesforce account admininstration

Open Salesforce: tab Accounts

IN SALESFORCE

Go to Accounts

Existing / New (Quick create)

In Account view

Scroll to Licenties, click on button 'Nieuw'
LICENTIE MAKEN

1. Next to Product key: Paste the txt info
2. Code: depends on the purchased Product (Survey Pro...
3. Licentienummer: temporary 'SL' as actual number is generated after activation
4. Onderhoudscontract: optional (link to other how to article)
5. Type licentie: Aankoop / Huur
6. Type dongle: Choose
7. Aantal gebruikers
8. Opmerking: optioneel
9. Aankoopdatum
10. Geldig tot: optioneel

Click on the button 'Save'

LICENTIE DETAIL

Click on button 'Certificate of Origin - Product key'

PDF certificate is generated

Sales sends mail with certificate to customer.
