Introduction
The Belgian federal government requires a cadastral volume to be determined in three dimensions. In order to assist topographic surveyors with this requirement, we've introduced a new object.
It is now possible to extrude polygons to create a new type of object: a Solid.
This can be done by editing a polygon and extruding it:
In 3D you get the following result:
Selection of Solids is made easy with the selection shortcut key ‘S’.
And lastly, we’ve added a new annotation type ‘Volume’ to be used for Solids. A selection of existing annotation types can also be applied for these new objects.
