Drape ortho image on a terrain model

Draping an ortho image onto a terrain model is a common technique to enhance visualization by overlaying a 2D image onto a 3D surface.

Here's how you can import an image into your file and bind it to the terrain model in the 3D Window:

  1. Import an image into your file
  2. In the 3D Window, select the image you want to import
  3. Right-click on the selected image and choose Bind Image > Bind to DTM.

The colors of the ortho image will be immediately projected onto the terrain model.
