CDF name shown in red

If the name or path of the loaded CDF file appears in red, this means the CDF cannot be fully validated.

This usually indicates that:

• the CDF refers to symbols, line styles or patterns that are not available in the active library, or

• the wrong library is currently loaded.

In this situation:

• the CDF is not reliably usable, and

• geocoding may produce missing or incorrect objects.

To resolve this:

1. Check which library is active.

2. Make sure the required symbols and styles are available.

3. Load the correct system library before importing field data.
