How to customize the layout of sections

Define layout of length profile and cross section

You can predefine and save the attributes for texts, lines and the other dimensions of a section. By following these steps, you can create sections with a customized layout that meets your specific requirements, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of your projects.




STEPS  

  • Select the line or path you want to work with.
  • Go to the command Length Profile or Cross sections.
  • In the window Cross Section, click on the tab Records (1).
  • Click on the button Attributes (2) in the column Dimensions to open the Style settings.
  • Adjust the lines data for Graph and foot lines. Select the text attributes for title and dimension texts.
  • Click on the Save (3) button to store these parameters as the new defaults. Confirm by clicking on the OK button.
  • Click on the OK (4) button to generate the section drawing.

Lines data

In the Style window, line types can be adjusted for both Graph and Foot lines. All default line styles and library line styles are available in every color and width.


Text attributes 

Text attributes can be changed for both the title and dimension texts per record row of the cross section.
