How to Transfer Your License to Another Computer
When you want to transfer your Pythagoras license to a new computer, for example, due to a computer upgrade, repair, or changing workplaces, follow these simple steps. This article explains how to deactivate the license on the old computer and activate it on the new one, so you can continue using the software without any issues.
To transfer a license from one computer to another (rehosting), you need to run the RUS program on both computers.
- Source computer: The old computer where the license is currently activated.
- Recipient computer: The new computer where the license will be transferred.
It's best to transfer the files created during this process using a USB stick or an external hard drive.
IMPORTANT: Before you start transferring the license, make sure Windows 10 is fully up-to-date and the latest version of the HASP driver is installed! If both systems do not have the same setup, the transfer may fail, and the license could be lost!
To ensure this procedure is successful, all steps should be followed promptly and accurately.
Download the RUS program via: RUS Program download link
