Create Parallel Object: Now with angle and slope confirmation

The Create Parallel Object tool now includes the ability to define the position by angles and slopes, in addition to setting the distance and number of objects.

By default, the angle is set to 90 degrees, meaning the parallel object is perpendicular to the original. (Check your Preferences for your Units settings.). The slope default is set to 0 %.

This feature is only available for line objects.

HOW TO USE

Select Create parallel object.

Click on a line to set the parallel direction.

Click at a distance.

In the Control Panel refine by :

  • Entering the distance (D)
  • Press TAB to enter the slope (%)
  • Press TAB to enter the angle (C)
  • Press TAB the number (#) of objects to be created

Confirm (Press ENTER)

This enhancement makes it easier to generate parallel objects at precise angles and heights, improving accuracy and flexibility in your designs.
