Work with enhanced polyline tools

Pythagoras CAD 2025 introduces additional functionalities for polyline interactions. 

Join polylines directly

You can now join polylines directly, without the need to unpack them first.

• Select the polylines you want to merge.

• Right-click and choose Edit > Join.

• A message will confirm how many polylines were combined.

Automatically Closing Polylines

In the same menu, you will find the Close Polyline option, allowing you to close an open polyline in just one click.

• Select an open polyline.

• Right-click and choose Edit > Close Polyline.

• The line is immediately closed.

Polylines in Combination with Other Functions

Polylines can now be directly modified using useful shortcut keys:

• Ctrl + M: move the selected polyline.
• Ctrl + Double-click: change the Z-value of the polyline.

These enhancements eliminate the need to explode polylines into separate segments before making adjustments.

Convert polygons to polylines in bulk

Previously, a polygon could only be converted individually into a polyline. This process has now been improved:

• Multiple polygons can be converted simultaneously into polylines.
• This greatly enhances efficiency, especially when working with large datasets.

1. Select multiple polygons.

2. Right-click and choose Edit > Convert to Polyline.

3. Choose wether to:

• Yes → keep the original polygons and also create polylines.

• No → replace the polygons with polylines only.

RESULT
All selected polygons are converted at once.
