Quickly Change Layer States from the Right-Click Menu

You can change the state of a layer directly from the right-click menu, without needing to use the Layer Manager. This makes managing layers faster and more convenient.

STEPS

• Select an Object: Click on the object whose layer state you want to change.
• Right-Click on the Object: This will open a context menu.
• Select Layers > In the context menu, navigate to the Layers option.
• Choose an Option

You will see several options to manage the layer:

- Set this layer as active layer. Makes the selected layer the active one.

- Select / Deselect all objects on this layer. Selects or deselects all objects on the chosen layer.

- Hide layer. Toggles the visibility of the layer on or off (Layer Manager: >V).

- Protect layer. Prevents any modifications to the layer (Layer Manager: P).

- Wallpaper. Prevents modifications and snapping to the layer (Layer Manager: W).

- Isolate layer. Displays other layers in grey and prevents snapping to these grey layers.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your layers directly from the object, saving time and simplifying your workflow.
