Repair or reinstall the Sentinel Runtime
Repair or reinstall the Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment if the Sentinel License Manager is missing, not functioning correctly, or Pythagoras cannot detect any licenses.
Use this procedure only when instructed by another troubleshooting article, or when the Sentinel Runtime is missing or damaged.
- Fully close Pythagoras.
Download the latest Sentinel Runtime:
https://www.pythagoras.net/content/uploads/sites/2/cpt-downloads/HaspUserSetup.exe
- Right-click HASPUserSetup.exe and select Run as administrator.
Follow the installation wizard.
The installer will:
- install the Sentinel Runtime if it is missing; or
- repair the existing installation if it is already present.
- Restart your computer.
- Start Pythagoras and verify that your license is available.
Verify the installation
After restarting:
- Open Task Manager → Services.
- Verify that hasplms (Sentinel LDK License Manager) appears in the list.
- If hasplms is not Running, follow: → Restart the License Manager service (hasplms)
- Start Pythagoras.
If hasplms is present and running, the Sentinel Runtime is installed correctly. Return to the previous troubleshooting article and continue with the next step.
