Circle Circumference Annotation

In Pythagoras, it's not possible to annotate the circumference of a circle directly. However, by using a polygon instead of a circle, you can add the total length (the circumference) as an annotation.

Create polygon within the circle

In Default Attributes click on Change default attributes for new annotations

In the window Default Attributes:

  • Click on Annotation functions
  • Scroll in the list for the function
  • Click on the + button to add the function to the annotation

  • Click on Text attributes
  • Adjust the properties as desired

Optional: Click on Save current set of attributes

Activate the Total Length-annotation and click on the polygon.

TIP

It is also possible to convert a circle to a polyline via the right-click menu > edit > convert to polyline.

Since a polyline has a defined start and end point, it is possible to apply the Total length annotation to it.
